I led the creative direction and execution of this piece — from concept and storyboarding through illustration, animation, and final edit.

Created for Whiterabbit.ai, the animation introduces their contribution to breast cancer screening — using AI to detect signs earlier and support radiologists in delivering better outcomes.

The challenge was balancing tone and technique. We wanted to acknowledge the emotional weight of the subject while ultimately landing in a place of optimism and forward momentum. Visually, the goal was a painterly, frame-by-frame feel, realized through a more streamlined technique.

We landed on a hybrid approach — textured, looping environments paired with cleaner character animation — allowing us to maintain warmth and tactility without sacrificing clarity.

The story follows a single patient’s experience, expanding outward to reflect a broader reality: a future where technology and specialists work in tandem to improve care.
